She particularly gravitates towards research in Psychodynamic theories, and Social Work Theories that contribute to our knowledge of human behaviour and environments that impact and influence client lives and problems, uncovering patterns people might not be aware of. Jas founded A Good Place Inc. wanting to do something different, to reflect her unique insights, and skills with an emphasis on evidence-based modalities for individuals with mental health and situational challenges. She aims to build space for clients that emphasizes safety, acceptance, trust, comfort, non-judgemental, and empathetic attitude. Hence, her inspiration behind the name!
Her background involves working in community health organizations, hospital settings, colleges, government-funded institutions, long term care centres, residential homes for vulnerable youth and adults. After many years working as part of the public sector, Jas found herself with the desire to transfer her skills to work with individuals in private practice. A Good Place Inc. was developed to support persons with optimizing their mental wellness, to empower you, and support you with struggles, and feeling stuck with issues interfering in your life. Jas feels passionate about ensuring the mental health needs of people are appropriately addressed.

Online Counselling Sessions are available by phone or video through our patient management system or an internet-based application called Jane Practice. We schedule a meeting with you through our relationship team and send you a link, with your therapist at the time arranged.
Can I Use Online Therapy From Anywhere?
Yes anywhere with an internet connection. We can setup a session at your convenience through Jane Practice.
